DeD Server hits the top 100!

WoW.... The DeD FKmod server jus got into the 100 best servers!!!!! This is big news when u think we only started last september as a clan! We're growing everyday, and thankfully 1 of our founder members has come back and joined us again, which to me is awesome, and speaks volumes :oD (sorry bro cant be said enuff times by me!) We are gettin requests for membership all the time, we got plenty of regulars who love the server, and now, because we've grown so much, we got the second server runnin right and being used too. So all in all, I'd like to say a big thanks to "EVERYONE" in the clan, and all those who support the clan by using the servers. We've opened a can of worms here that was never wot was intended, but is very very welcomed and apprecciated, and makes us very happy every day to see so many ppl lovin wot we started as a pastime... It's awesome guys and gals :oD

CALL OF DUTY 2 PATCH

Well finally Infinity Ward has seen fit to release a patch with punkbuster on board, about time I hear you cry! Yes about time.

Well the server is now running the new patch and you guys need to download it.

There is an issue with the Fkmod, when going into the server all you see is “Spectate”!!!!

BUT if you press

1 = Allied

2 = Axis

3 = Auto Assign

(I think) This will work

New Server!!!!!!!!!!

Well guys it's our lucky day
We are now a two Server two Teamspeak Server Clan!!

The new server is
193.23.224.148:28950 CTF FKmod/Stats -|DeD|-

Teamspeak servers are
Public (50 man): 193.23.224.156:8777
Private (16 man): eurots1.clanservers.com:8772 (password for members only)

It’s a first for me setting up the extreme+ mod so any suggestions for improved game play would be appreciated via the forum, or MSN.

A few of us have worked long and hard in making this happen so please support the server by getting yourselves and all your COD2 playing buddies in the servers.

As you are all aware we had a few issues with our first server not responding well to mods so that is why we took the decision to add a new server to our Clan, the new server will be our public, modDeD server and the original server will be used as a public stock server (not set in stone) and for any matches we have, be it in-house or Clanbase.

Not sure which server you would wish for Sunday practice but that’s up to you guys, please make your wishes known in the forum.

I hope you guys enjoy the additions we have made to our Clan

Unfortunately as you know the server has been down for several days now due to technical problems here is what Clanservers have to say on the problem

We are experiencing some issues with some servers in London which is causing some of the servers to be off the network. Not everyone is affected, however if you are experiencing issues we hope to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

This is being treated as a severity 1 issue.

There was an issue with the electrical circuit that they have for some of our servers in the London datacenter and they are *still* trying to get this working. We are working with them as best as we can but it's more of a waiting game at this point in time.

Folks,
We have about a third of the servers left to bring back up. We had to move the servers to another area within the datacenter that did not have the issues that we saw here. We will have someone on site to work on this all day tomorrow to get this resolved. For those that are affected buy this issue, we will time credit any lost time and then some.

This issue is clearly not the norm and was something that was out of our control. Unfortunately, that doesn't help you much but we are trying to fix this as quickly as humanly possible.

For those that are affected by this - you will be credited with double time credit. We hope this is going ot be resolved on Saturday - we have a couple people that will be there making sure that things goes smoothly.

As from today your server stats will be updated daily, the time of the update will be 9am for the anxious amongst you.

This means all members and friends of the server can see how you/they are improving on a daily basis, or alternatively see my stats drop like a stone!
